Matthew passionately employs the fundamentals and advanced techniques of massage therapy which includes General Swedish Techniques, Lymphatic Drainage, varying Hydrotherapy Modalities, Myofascial Release Techniques, Pregnancy Massage, and Thai Massage. The addition of massage therapy services marks another step towards providing outstanding patient-centered care at ALHC. For those who have never experienced massage therapy, it is the manipulation of soft tissues of the body including muscles, connective tissues, tendons, ligaments and joints. Massage Therapy is a clinically-oriented healthcare option that helps alleviate the discomfort associated with everyday and occupational stresses, muscular over-use and many acute or chronic pain conditions.
Registered Massage Therapy (RMT) services are often covered by your extended health benefits insurance from work. We recommend reviewing your insurance package or calling your respective insurance company to check details as some companies require a doctor’s prescription to qualify for coverage. Massage Therapy sessions can be booked between 30 minute and 90 minute intervals.
We recommend a 60 minute session for your first visit. We are offering first-time visit discounts for a limited time, so take advantage of it asap!

*The New Patient Consultation is for new massage therapy patients to discuss their desired outcomes and recommended treatment plans with the Massage Therapist. Initial Consults are usually ~10 minutes by phone or in person in advance of treatment. Should the patient wish to begin treatment, the respective fee based on the length of massage will apply. We recommend a 60 minute massage for first time visitors.
